The James M. Barrie Center for Children, Inc. is Etowah County, Alabama’s Children’s Advocacy Center.
The mission of the James M. Barrie Center for Children, Inc. is to promote hope, healing, and justice for child abuse victims by providing coordinated, trauma-informed services and education in our community.
Often referred to as The Barrie Center, our services to children and families are at the core of what we do on a daily basis. Our agency values serving those children with a compassionate, child-centered focus utilizing a collaborative approach with our multi-disciplinary team.
